I’ll be honest, every time I come across a subscription box service, I am most tempted to buy and try. More so after becoming a mother, products that promise to increase my child’s intelligence or style quotient, or make my life easier, are especially inviting. But then I think of all the clutter that is collecting in our house.. the toys that are played with for a few weeks and then put away, the books that are taking up more space than I can afford.
If I had a never ending chasm in which to put these toys, even that would be overflowing!
So why not explore something more sustainable. I came across Rentoys on an Instagram ad and found the concept to be so inviting. You get to try a variety of toys and books, on loan for a month. Then they pick these up, and give you a brand new set! I couldn’t see the downside to be honest.
I decided to try them out, and have absolutely fallen in love!
